John, glad you've enjoyed my books. The Snowys are a superb area to flyfish, and in very good shape this year (so far) following prolonged wet weather. Lake Eucumbene itself is likely to fish well this March with all sorts of exciting possibilities. If levels hold, look out for grasshoppers on the water and match with a foam hopper fly like a Wee Creek. The stream fishing is likely to be pretty good too. Try the Murrumbidgee and its tributaries above Tantangara Reservoir; also the Yarrangobilly. The Eucumbene River itself may be worth a look if there's been some rain, and if time allows the Thredbo further south can be very good in March. Good luck.

Phil thanks heaps for all the great books. I`ve fished Tassy in my younger days. Four decades on myself and fishing companion Warren Steptoe head to New England streams to get our trout fix . Moffat Falls Lodge provides us with great fishing. We now have started to fish areas to the west of Guyra. Warren and I have decided to fish the Snowy Mountain area around Eucumbene early march for a week being new to the area any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
